Updated on 11.07.2024
This Policy (hereinafter referred to as "Policy") refers to the use of cookies and the website operated by PRO GIS SOLUTIONS SRL, with headquarters in Cluj-Napoca, Câmpului str., no. 115, Cluj County, registered with ONRC under no. - WHAT IS A COOKIE?
A cookie is a small text file, generally made up of identifiers, website names, letters and numbers, which the user, when browsing the web page through a web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Chrome, etc.), may or may not allow to be installed by storing it on the computer, mobile terminal or other equipment used by the user. The cookie file is "passive" (does not contain any software, viruses or spyware and cannot access information on the user's hard disk).
- The original cookies are set by the website you are visiting. They can only be read by that website. In addition, websites sometimes use external services that place their own cookies - these are third-party cookies.
- Persistent cookies are cookies stored on your computer which, unlike session cookies, are not automatically deleted when you close your browser.
Each time you visit our website, you will be asked to accept or decline cookies.
- WHAT TYPES OF COOKIES DO WE USE?
We use two types of cookies:
- session - temporary files that remain in the user's terminal until the browsing session is closed or the application (web browser) is closed
- persistent - files that remain on the user's terminal for a period defined by the parameters of that cookie or until manually deleted by the user.
Some of our pages may display content from external providers, e.g. YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
To view third-party content, you must first agree to their specific terms and conditions - including their cookie policies, which we cannot control.
But if you don't view that content, you won't be set any third-party cookies.
- WHAT DATA DO COOKIES CONTAIN?
In most cases, cookies do not directly identify Internet users, but the terminal from which they have accessed certain web pages. This data is encrypted in a way that prevents unauthorized access by third parties.
Examples of important uses of cookies (which do not require authentication of a user via an account):
- content and services tailored to user preferences - news categories, weather, sports, maps, public and government services, fun websites and travel services;
- offers tailored to users' interests - password retention, language preferences (e.g. displaying search results in English)
- retention of child protection filters on Internet content (family mode options, safe search functions);
- measurement, optimization and analytics features - such as: confirming a certain level of traffic to a website, what type of content is being viewed and how a user gets to a website (e.g. through search engines, directly, from other websites, etc.). Website owners run these analytics to improve their websites for the benefit of users.
- RETENTION AND DELETION OF COOKIES
In general, an application used to access web pages allows cookies to be stored on the user's terminal by default. These settings can be changed by the user so that automatic cookie handling is blocked by the web browser or the user is informed each time cookies are sent to their terminal.
- MODIFICATION OF THIS POLICY
Where necessary, We may modify this Policy to reflect applicable legal requirements and processes carried out within the website operator website by Us in relation to the use of cookies.
- HOW CAN YOU MANAGE COOKIES?

You can delete any cookies that are already on your device by clearing your browser's browsing history. This will delete all cookies from all the websites you have visited.
This means, however, that you may lose some saved information (e.g. website preferences).
